Board Foot
A unit of lumber volume equal to 144 cubic inches (1 inch × 12 inches × 12 inches).

Fragrance Load
The percentage of fragrance oil in a candle, relative to the total wax-plus-fragrance weight.
🎨Art & Painting
GSM (Grams per Square Meter)
A metric measurement of paper weight. It measures how many grams one square meter of the paper weighs.

Superfat
The percentage of oils left unsaponified in soap, making it milder and more moisturizing.
🧵Sewing & Textile
Aida Count
The number of squares (holes) per inch on Aida cross stitch fabric.
🧶Yarn, Crochet & Knitting
Yarn Weight
A classification system for yarn thickness, ranging from 0 (lace) to 7 (jumbo), as defined by the Craft Yarn Council.
